Remembering His Life and Service

Paul spent most of his fire career with Engine 5 at Concord Street and was active in collective bargaining for Local 1652. A World War II Navy veteran, he earned a fire science degree and founded Norton Fence Company while still serving. His son Joe remembered the extraordinary support the firefighting brotherhood gave their family. Tom added that Paul was among the department’s earliest members to pursue the newly created fire science degree program.
